I’ve never worked with a photographer before and I’m nervous. What should I expect?

First of all, thank you for reaching out! I’ve worked with a lot “first-timers”, so I definitely understand where you’re coming from. Next, I’ll always start by sending a follow-up email that includes a shoot-day prep checklist. I’ll email you to ensure we’re both on the same page when it comes to when and where we’ll shoot and what you can expect. We’ll also go over that checklist together to ensure that all of your accessibility needs are met and any further questions are answered.

Most of the time, we’ll be shooting either in a studio or outdoors. Generally speaking, be prepared for flashing lights and dressing for the weather.

What makes you different?

As your photographer, you can expect me to be personable, knowledge, and accommodating. I’m on your side every step of the way and will always ensure that you’re feeling your best.

Further, I’m LGBT-inclusive and accessible. Everyone is welcome in my space! You’re a beautiful work of art; I’m just capturing your essence in a photo.

When we feel like a million dollars, that feeling tends to come across in photos, so it’s literally my job to make sure you’re happy! Aside from that, I simply enjoy working with and learning from every client. Everyone has a story to share and I’m here to listen, literally and figuratively. I can’t wait to hear yours!

I have accessibility needs, but don’t know how to go about asking for accommodations.

I’ll always do everything in my power to accommodate you. During the shoot, I’ll ask how you’re feeling, see if you’re still okay with standing, and if you’d like a break. You always have the right to pass with me, and I will not take time needed to rest away from the time you’ve paid for; this is your time, and I respect that.

How much do you charge?

Great question! Packages start at $110 for non-commercial shoots. My commercial Videography Package (geared towards businesses and entrepreneurs who need anything filmed) is $250. I also offer a Branding Package. Please inquire here for more information.
